Laser Safety

You should follow the following few steps. This will make the lab a safer place for you. Don't forget about the Lab Rules

bulletWhat ever you do, use your common sense!
bulletThere might be invisible laser radiation present in this laboratory. Don't have your eyes level with the table. If you have to pick something up from the floor, close your eyes when passing the table level.
bulletDon't look directly into the laser or stare at beam reflecting from any surface.
bulletBlock the laser beam while you are not using it.
bulletIn case the laser isn't working talk to your TA. Don't try to fix it yourself, some lasers contain lethal voltages and other are easily damaged and very expensive to replace.
